Talking with MeckieHands-free voice, listening modes and speaking
  • Hands-free conversationJust talk. The mic stays open, the mic button mutes it, and on a computer you can hold the spacebar to talk.
  • Answers to its nameYou name your Meckie. It wakes to its name, "hey ___" or "ok ___", even when speech recognition slightly mishears it.
  • Interrupt any timeTalk over it, or say "stop", "wait" or "never mind", and it stops speaking.
  • Doesn't answer itselfIt ignores its own voice and the TV's chatter.
  • Turns toward whoever spokeOn Rover, the mics hear which direction a voice came from.
